Supporting the Maasai People of Tanzania

Hear Our Story:

Who We Are: 

Natopiwo Partners is a 501(c)3 non-profit created to support Maasai communities in Tanzania.  We work closely with Maasai elder Musa Kamaika, the founder and director of Natopiwo Organization, a registered NGO in Tanzania.  Natopiwo ("lifted up" in the Maasai language) serves Maasai communities, focusing on community-identified concerns, especially education and environmental restoration.

Our Projects

Natopiwo operates a preschool in the village of Eluwai that currently serves nearly 100 children.  Learn more about the Natopiwo Preschool

Natopiwo works with NGO partners and the local community to address climate change through reforestation, water conservation projects, and extensive erosion mitigation and vegetation renewal. Learn more about Natopiwo's environmental projects.
